Kerrie廷德尔

Senior Manager, Community Development

Kerrie is a community development expert with more than 20 years of experience in local government administration and economic and policy development.

Kerrie is an economic development and local government expert with more than 20 years of experience in problem-solving and developing strategies that yield authentic community and social impacts. She is skilled at building relationships, 解决冲突, identifying strategic opportunities, and increasing awareness and understanding of issues and programs.

Kerrie works directly with state and local elected officials, commercial and community development financial institutions, and economic development marketing, 金融, and planning organizations. She also works with real estate developers in commercial, industrial, and residential development.

Kerrie is a subject matter expert in real estate 金融 and economic development financing tools. She focuses on tax abatements, tax increment financing, special taxing districts, 机会区, brownfield remediation, and tax credit programs, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, and New Market Tax Credits. Utilizing these tax credit tools for community revitalization initiatives helps develop policies and programs related to equitable development, affordable and inclusionary housing, and disadvantaged business financing.

Kerrie has strong community engagement skills and works closely with business and community stakeholders. She has experience developing, 实现, and analyzing community surveys, coordinating and designing community planning and engagement initiatives, and developing program and policy evaluation tools and scorecards.

Kerrie provides technical assistance and training on U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Place-Based Initiatives and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs. 目前, she leads a team to establish a new community of practice, supporting communities engaged in Place-Based Initiatives and developing tools and resources for elected officials to use the CDBG program.

Earlier in her career, Kerrie worked in a leadership capacity in local government in Missouri, 堪萨斯, 和德州, in both assistant city manager and director of economic development roles.

Kerrie earned a master’s in public administration from the University of Missouri and a bachelor’s degree from the University of 堪萨斯. She also holds the National Development Council's Economic Development Finance Professional certificate.
